Kenya Gondo
The Gondo washing station is located in Muranga County. This region produces a flavour profile that really fits our style. It is connected to the Aberdare Mountain range which has a rich volcanic soil. Perfect conditions to produce great coffees.
Gondo Factory is operated by the New Kiriti Farmers Cooperative. They have around 560 members that deliver coffee on a daily basis. It is immediately selected and sorted before being depulped. The ripe cherry is processed using fresh water from the Kananahu stream that is conveniently located close to the factory.
The coffee is dried in the full sun on raised beds for around two weeks. It’s covered during peak sun hours to allow for slow drying. We like this coffee for its classic Kenya profile. A load of dark fruit sweetness with a well-balanced lime acidity makes this a very enjoyable cup.

This is how we brew it
