For us this coffee is a great example of what we call a classic Kenya profile. Expect high sweetness with notes of blackberry and a juicy mouthfeel. The high sweetness in this particular lot makes it very approachable for a washed African coffee. The washing stations are being supported by our partners of Sucafina and with Mette-Marie being our feet on the ground we have the possibility to select these coffees before they go through auction. We just love this type of Kenyan coffees.
The fields are located on the south western slopes of Mount Kenya and extend to the eastern slopes of the Aberdares mountain range. This region is well known for its high production of high quality coffees. The elevation of 1800 meters above sea level combined with the volcanic soil make some of the top conditions to grow coffee.

James Lee Lacaden –
I love the coffee. I can taste the fruitiness of the beans.
I had only cash to buy coffee but the girl staff willingly let me pay cash to her and she used her card to pay for my coffee. That meant a lot as a guest.
One the best specialty coffee in the Hague. Would visit again when i come back in netherlands

I ordered online and got it delivered next day. Kenya origin coffee has fruity smell of the bean. Very happy with the order!

Delicious brew! It was served on a windy Sunday. The warmth of this fruity coffee was the pick me I needed! Will take a pack home, for sure!
